السَّلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اللّهِ وَيَرَكَاتُهُ Writing about oneself in this manner is much more difficult than I anticipated. With that said- I’ll try my best to highlight my main qualities -as accurately as possible-. ✎ᝰ. To begin- i’ve lived in the US- specifically New York- practically my whole life. As a result- I have acquired much knowledge from many different perspectives. I’m extremely grateful for such upbringing as it has allowed me to grow into an open-minded and empathetic individual. It’s important to highlight that I didn’t have the best relationship with Islam growing up. There were times where I felt- and was- completely lost and purposeless. But such difficult experiences has allowed my relationship-connection with Allah to grow stronger than ever before. I wouldn’t want it any other way- and my love for Allah is limitless. I hope to find a partner who feels the same or a similar way- inshAllah. Currently- I’m a university student studying Business- and will graduate in approximately a year. I work part-time as a barista for a family friend’s business. Other than these- I also design-create jewelry out of real flowers- fruits- vegetables- and insects. Such passion started 5 years ago- and has allowed me to fall in love with nature even more. I plan to grow this hobby of mine into a thriving business one day- inshAllah. I consider myself to be a very balanced person- I like to see and approach things with a middle ground. Reverting to Islam has allowed me to gain much knowledge on this concept of balance. I’m very family-oriented and love to spend lots of family time when I’m not busy. Although I tend to stay home often- I don’t mind going outside and exploring- especially with my future husband. I absolutely adore kids- and when I’m ready -or near ready- I can’t wait to become a mother. In general- I’m a very artistic person. I enjoy painting -watercolor- oil - acrylic- creating all forms of fine art- crocheting- and writing about interesting or complex ideas. I don’t expect my partner to have similar attributes.
