i follow Quran and Sunnah according to understanding of the righteous predecessors. i’m not into any social media nor watching movies or tv shows as it ruins our generations. I do not listen to music. i try to be more present and most importantly is seeking islamic knowledge. Urwah ibn az-zubair said “O my children- seek knowledge even though you’re still small because you will be big in the future- and verily it’s horrible- what is more horrible than a stupid man-parent who does not understand his religion-”. This hits me deep as we see the outside world- how many parents who do not teach their kids Tawhid- Not even surat Al-fatiha. It’s a big big loss. We live in a life where no power can save us except Imaan in the heart. The main goal is to raise a family upon Tawhid. we need Al wala’ wal Bara’ in our life. As a woman i enjoy doing what Allah loves us to do including the duties of a wife such as to create home. I find it cool and enjoyable to work with my own hands such as turning groceries into meals- seeds into plants and fruits- fabric into dresses -still learning how to sew though- and some DIY stuff cause i love decorating my home. i hope to find someone who feel the same- who’s pleased and proud to love- protect and provide for the family- a true masculine man. May Allah make it easy.
