A kind heart and a bright smile would be an apt way to describe me. Born in India and raised in Bahrain. I fell in love with this country at the age of 7- and Alhumdullilah went for my first Hajj from here when I was 8. Bahrain is home- it’s special to me- and I would really like to continue to live here unless Allah has other plans. My family is in Bahrain. My father is retired and mum - a homemaker. I have one sibling-my elder brother- married and with his family here. I got married at the age of 22 and- for many reasons- got divorced later. The details of which can be shared as the conversation proceeds further. It’s been a beautiful journey so far from being a Muslim to becoming a Mumin. I hope to write about it someday. InshaAllah- Ameen. I pray on time or at least try my best to- there are times I miss a few. I fast during Ramadan and outside of it too. Iam striving to be better each day than the last. Music is my weakness- there are days I listen to different genres while driving or while doing chores- and then there are days when I am listening to my podcasts or Islamic lectures or simply doing zikhr throughout my drive. Kindness and humility are very important to me. Nothing is more beautiful than a kind heart and a pure soul. So is respect- honesty and communication- they are some of the strong pillars of a relationship. I firmly believe that for Allah’s blessings in a marriage- both should strive to get close to Him and live life as per the Quran and Sunnah. I seek a partner who truly understands that deen is a way of life and strives for what really matters—Akhirah. A simple life—a Halal one—from income to expenditure to following what’s commanded and staying away from what’s prohibited. To grow in faith while growing old together. Taking care of our parents- maintaining relationships with kith and kin- and most importantly- being the guide for our children to navigate through life as a test. An even simpler Nikah- InshaAllah- according to the Sunnah. I would prefer early parental-family involvement- InshaAllah- once we surpass the talking stage. JazakAllah khair. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I wish you the best. May Allah make this easy for all of us. Ameen!
