I’m a Bengali brother born in the Uk. I’m very family oriented and love quality time rather than extravagance. I’m competitive- playful and funny. I’d like to think I’m mature and disciplined being the oldest male in my family. I enjoy deep conversations and quality time. I’m rarely angry or emotional and if I am I can control it Alhamdulillah. I try to be empathetic- unproblematic and caring- The main priority for me is learning and practicing the deen with my life partner- the rest is a bonus. I trained in boxing for 3 years and still partake in combat sports once in a while. I also go to the gym 3 times a week to stay healthy and gain muscle. In terms of hobbies I don’t have specific day-to-day hobbies as I spend my time studying- on my side business or gym - boxing. However I do read sometimes- only books with islamic knowledge. I do enjoy simple days I.e food- small gathering in mosque- journeys- lectures etc. Alhamdullilah I have a good friend group of pious brothers. My family are practicing and my younger brother -18- studies with me. We are close and joke a lot with each other Alhamdulillah. My mother can speak Urdu as well as Bengali. :اهل السنة و الجماعة I am a student of knowledge. I currently attend Hadith and Arabic Fusha classes. I’m currently undergoing an online Allamiyah course- through Madinah College Portal. I started seeking knowledge at around 18- however I studies aqeeda and basics of Islam at madrasa from 14-16 and learnt how to read Quran since very young. I listen to lectures and tafseer to help myself get closer to Allah and feel connection. I tend to go masjid a couple times a week. I’ve complete fiqh Masai Al qudoori book in Q-A format. I read Ibn Kathir tafseer and the ‘sealed nectar’ Seerah almost daily. I read Quran daily- and have learnt makharij and tajweed. I try memorise daily In shaa allah I become Hafiz. I stay away from Haram- eat Halal- don’t listen to music and segregate. Alhamdullilah I lead Jam’at at home most days and rarely at my Madrasa. I’ve learnt the rights of marriage for both sides. I don’t follow culture but only deen.
